Things to Do Get Google AdSense Account Approval for New Blog:
Getting Google AdSense approval is not hard for those genuinely working on their blog. Team Google AdSense only checks the quality of your website and how you have optimized it.
1. Get Your Website Indexed by Google
It should be your first step when thinking off to apply for AdSense. Before moving on to other parameters, AdSense ensures that your website is indexed in Google.
Checking whether your website is indexed by Google or not is easy. All you need is to type site:example.com in Google and look at whether the pages from your site are shown up.
Well, if your content on the website is not shown up in Google results. You can manually submit your website for indexing to Google through the Google Search Console.
2. Top-Level Domain is Key
We have included this point as top-level domains like .com, .net, .org, etc., look authentic and cause no problem for Google to approve your AdSense quickly.
Domains like .tk, .pa, and .sdk look spammy or related to the black hat world. Even free domains like abc.wordpress.com or xyz.blogspot.com get delayed or have no approval.
3. Domain Email Address
The domain email address represents authenticity to Google. For like, we used [email protected] for our blog. Also, make sure you write this address on your contact form.
Try to make it less confusing for Google and your website visitor to contact you.
4. Unique and High-Quality Content
This point is mentioned by every blogger in their blog posts and Google too.
- Unique and high-quality content is something that you should always maintain not only for AdSense approval but to rank your blog post on Google too.
- You can only get visitors to your site if you provide value to their problems. A large audience visiting your site will generate high revenue from AdSense.
5. Design a User-Friendly Blog
You should design a user-friendly site with a straightforward navigation menu to help visitors find essential pages.
Also, ensure your blog is professionally designed and responsive to improve user experience.
6. Important Blog Pages

It is the common reason a blog site gets rejected, which is why we got rejected when we applied for the first time.
2. About Us Page
About page, according to us, is one of the most vital pages that can build a strong connection between you and people worldwide.
It will describe your website content and what the user will get from it, and then not forget to mention yourself and your team.
3. Contact Us
As part of having a good user experience blog site, you must give your readers a better opportunity to speak up and tell them how they feel about your blog. By creating a contact us page, you’re notifying Google that you care for your readers and that they can contact you anytime.
Make it as simple as possible. Don’t stuff your services and promote stuff on the contact page. Place your email domain address clearly to get quickly spotted by the user and Google.
Make sure to include your active email address, business phone number (if any), and other social media links– Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, and Youtube to keep them updated about you. You should know that having a personal space online isn’t as private as you thought because this passion or hobby means going out there.
Google treats this page to understand the flow of your website. Check whether all your posts, pages, and categories are well-linked in the sitemap page.
To get an idea, you can see our Disclaimer page.
These pages should be easily accessible for every blog visitor and included in your business website's header or footer section.
7. Clear Website Navigation
Make sure you have straightforward website navigation. For most people, this is an afterthought. They’ll probably say, “Of course, I have clear navigation.” But sometimes websites don’t, or whatever they’re using isn’t very clear. That’s a problem because it doesn’t give validity to the website according to google guidelines.
See the image below from the famous website mashable to understand straightforward navigation.
Make sure the main navigation for your website is easily found and accessible.
8. Original Content is Must
Your site contents must be original and not a copy paste from another website or blog or anywhere else. Therefore, you should not use copyrighted material on your site. If you are using any copyrighted textual content, images, videos, etc., then it violates AdSense content policy.
Some webmasters use images for their posts either from Search Engine Result Pages (SERPS) or other sites without permission from the original owner or showing credit to them. You may use the royalty-free stock for your site.
Things to Avoid to Get Google AdSense Account Approval for New Blog:
1. Focusing on the Number of Blog Posts
The most common discussion topic for applying for AdSense is How many blog posts or content you should have before applying for AdSense? No need to wait for 25-30 posts, as mentioned by many writers. Trust us; you will be simply wasting time doing so.
Well, according to us, at least 5-10 with a reasonable length of around 1500 to 3000 words.
Why are we saying 5-10? Well, 5-10 articles on your blog will help readers engage, and if they are ranking on Google SERPs, This is an incredible catch for you to grab organic leads. The more organic visitors more revenue you will generate from Adsense.
2. Waiting to Get Your Blog Older
Thinking of, How old your blog should be? You might have heard that your blogging website should be two months or six months old, and some even say a year.
Well, your head is going to spin now as we are going to reveal the truth, which states that even if your blog has not been completed in a month, you will get AdSense approval.
3. Placing 3rd Party Ads and Banners
Google AdSense doesn’t prefer any other advertising on your platforms. However, certain Advertisement services are Google AdSense friendly, like Media.net, AdSterra, Amazon affiliates, etc.
We have specifically mentioned Banners here. Now, banners here refer to both the advertisement service and the affiliate networks. We placed affiliate banners on the sidebar when Google AdSense denied us.
We guess you did not take the risk and remove all the banners from your website for quick approval.
4. Having Restricted Content
Google hates categories and topics like Making money online, gambling, adult, violent and hateful posts. Remove those categories, restricted content, and related posts.
If you want to keep a category like make money online on your blog or website, wait until AdSense approves, after which you can feature your variety on your website.
5. Building Up Traffic
Traffic is not required. We said so, as Google will not calculate your traffic for approval.
People mention this point on their blogs to convey the importance of traffic by monetizing with Google AdSense.
There is no such traffic required for AdSense. At least there is no such publicly available information. Other platforms like Media.net, AdThrive, and Monumetric have traffic requirements.
6. Don’t Use Copyrighted Images
Adsense doesn’t approve blogs if they notice copyrighted content.
Maybe you’re using copyrighted images without taking permission from the owner. Keep in mind that it’s illegal and harmful to your business.
So, make sure you’re using images by taking permission, or you’re using copyright-free photos on your blog.
AdSense Account Approval Process
After applying all those tweaks we mentioned above, are you ready to use Google AdSense? Here are the step-by-step tips to get started with Google AdSense:
Easy Steps to Get Started With Google Adsense:
First, Visit the Google AdSense page and sign up with your existing Google account.
After logging in to your AdSense account, you have to connect your site to AdSense by placing code into the HTML of your site between the <head> and </head> tags.
<script data-ad-client="ca-pub-xxxxxxxxxxxx8042" async src="https://pagead2.googlesyndication.com/pagead/js/adsbygoogle.js"></script>
The above code contains your Publisher ID (ca-pub-XXXX) to verify your site ownership and display ads automatically immediately after activation of your account.
See the screenshot for more.
After that, you must provide your full postal address and a valid phone number. The Google AdSense team sends a Personal Identification Number (PIN) to that address before sending your first AdSense payment.
After completing all steps, you will see the following pop-up message (Code was found):
Google AdSense will start an automatic review after it detects that you’ve added the ad code on live-in pages of the site you’ve used to sign up. The entire site will be reviewed, though, not just that page.
Note that this will not display ads on your live web pages until you get a fully approved AdSense account. Earlier, you would have to wait for some days or weeks for the preliminary checks to verify the information provided before submitting your AdSense application. And after verification of your information (Your Name, Address, Blog/site URL, etc.), you will be able to create your first AdSense Ad Unit.
Have you got an email from Google AdSense about your application being reviewed? If yes, you must connect your blog or website to AdSense by doing the following things:
- Sign in to your AdSense account.
- Create an “Ads unit” and generate the code.
- You must input some “ads code” on your website or blog.
